Catering & Events Operations Manager 
Company: Off-Premise Catering Company 
Reports To: Owner / General Manager 
Location:  Headquarters - Brockton, MA 
​

Job Summary 
The Catering & Events Operations Manager leads all catering and event operations for the company, overseeing sales, planning, logistics, staffing, and execution of off-premise events. This role is responsible for maintaining service excellence, managing teams and well-executed events that align with the company’s brand and standards. 

Key Responsibilities 
● Oversee all catering and event operations from initial client inquiry through event completion
● Lead and manage the catering and events team, including event lead managers, coordinators, and on-site staff
● Develop and approve event proposals, menus, pricing, and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
● Collaborate with culinary preparation help and ensure seamless execution
● Establish standards, systems, and best practices for event planning and execution
● Ensure compliance with food safety and company policies
● Resolve escalated client or operational issues with professionalism and urgency
Qualifications & Skills 
​● 5+ years of experience in catering, events, or hospitality, including leadership roles
● Extensive experience with off-premise catering operations
● Proven ability to manage teams
● Strong sales, negotiation, and client relationship management skills
● Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities
● Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
● Proficiency with catering/event management software Tripleseat/Quickbooks a plus
● Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to event sites​
