Happy International Women’s Day!

March 8th marks the day of celebration for International Women’s Day.  It is a day to honor and speak out about the importance of equality, and there are many ways to do it – from striking, to wearing red, making phone calls to representatives, or spending money only at women-owned businesses, we come together in solidarity today and most importantly every day.  International Women’s Day is about unity, celebration, reflection, advocacy and action – whatever that looks like at any level. 

At NACE we have countless fierce, fun and fabulous females who inspire us on a daily basis.  We pride ourselves on binding together as a NACE community to build each other up, assist each other in times of need, learn and grow from each other, and to have a lot of fun along the way.  Ellen DeGeneres has said, “Beauty is about being comfortable in your own skin.  It’s about knowing and accepting who you are.”  Our NACE members are just that – strong and accepting of themselves and each other.  Today we want to show our support for International Women’s Day by celebrating all of our amazing female NACE members.  Thank you for all that you do, the unity that brings us all together, and also for all of the support from our male members who believe in us as our female members believe in them.  As Gloria Steinem has said, “A feminist is anyone who recognizes the equality and full humanity of women and men,” and all of our NACE members shine through on a daily basis in recognizing the importance of us all.  Let’s take today to celebrate each other.  Here are some great photos of just a few of our abundant fantastic female members.
